After high-school, I went on to get my certificate in Human Services, and have since been putting my knowledge and skills into practice by working in the community support field. Connections Place serves the communities of southern Vancouver Island and the south Gulf Islands that are located in the traditional territories of the Lkwungen (Esquimalt and Songhees), Malahat, Pacheedaht, Scia’new, T’Sou-ke and W̱SÁNEĆ (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples.
We acknowledge our traditional hosts and honour their graciousness to the Clubhouse community and the ways we work, socialize, and advocate for wellness on these ancestral lands.
