Connections Place Clubhouse is a Clubhouse International Accredited program located in Victoria, BC, Canada. We have over 170 active members, an average daily attendance of 30, 9 employees, and are open 5 days per week, 2 evenings per week, two Saturdays per month, and on statutory holidays. The Clubhouse offers hope, encouragement and opportunities to members who are people who have a mental illness. Members reclaim their lives through a supportive environment that focuses on their strengths and talents, rather than their illness.
As a staff team, we work together as a group and create opportunities for members to return to school, gain employment, and have a place to live, connect with their families, make new friends and create multiple successes. As such, the staff can be described as “community builders”, where engagement of members in the day-to-day operation of the Clubhouse is central to the role, working side-by-side, together.

Connections Place serves the communities of southern Vancouver Island and the south Gulf Islands that are located in the traditional territories of the Lkwungen (Esquimalt and Songhees), Malahat, Pacheedaht, Scia’new, T’Sou-ke and W̱SÁNEĆ (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples.
We acknowledge our traditional hosts and honour their graciousness to the Clubhouse community and the ways we work, socialize, and advocate for wellness on these ancestral lands.
