Connections Place is a Greater Victoria, BC-based community that helps people with mental illness achieve self-reliance, and use their skills and talents to get their lives back on track. It’s estimated that there’s more than 80,000 people living with a mental illness in the Greater Victoria Area.
We offer employment, education, and recreation initiatives to help people diagnosed with any mental illness including: psychosis, PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, OCD, and schizophrenia. Membership is free and for life for anyone over 19 years of age, and members can visit as often as desired to get their lives back and move forward.

Our community Clubhouse is a vibrant, innovative, and collaborative space dedicated to creating opportunity and purpose for those with mental health challenges. The Clubhouse is dedicated to nurturing respect, equality, and dignity for all.
To provide people whose lives have been disrupted by mental illness the opportunity to recover meaningful and productive lives through reintegration within the workplace and the community.
Connections Place was formed by a local group of passionate parents/caregivers of adult children living with mental illness.

Connections Place serves the communities of southern Vancouver Island and the south Gulf Islands that are located in the traditional territories of the Lkwungen (Esquimalt and Songhees), Malahat, Pacheedaht, Scia’new, T’Sou-ke and W̱SÁNEĆ (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples.
We acknowledge our traditional hosts and honour their graciousness to the Clubhouse community and the ways we work, socialize, and advocate for wellness on these ancestral lands.
